This Service provides diagnosis, treatment and management of disease and anomolies which affect the human eye and visual system.
The Service treats trauma injuries to the eye and sees many ocular disease conditions, a few of which are listed below:
- Blepharitis
- Chalazia and Styes
- Diabetic Retinopathy
- Dry Eye
- Floaters and Flashes
- Glaucoma
- Macular Degeneration
- Retinitis Pigmentosa
All staff are hospital-based, residency trained doctors who have done extensive study into the mechanism of disease that affect the eye and their diagnosis and treatment. The Service is open six days a week and accepts major medical insurance as well as Medicare and MediCal. We also provide an urgent care phone number that is accessible 24 hours a day.
