Other Services

If you have additional needs that cannot be met by the Low Vision Center, you may be referred. Such services may include orientation and mobility training (cane travel), counseling to aid in adjustment to the vision loss, rehabilitation counseling, vision support groups, and extensive training in activities of everyday living.

At the Eye Care Center specialty services are available, including:

  • contact lenses
  • pathology
  • vision therapy
  • pediatrics
  • prosthetics

You will be referred to a specialty service if it can be of benefit to you, and if you do not already have an eyecare professional who can provide these services.
