Monique M. Nguyen, O.D. received her doctor of optometry degree in 2002 from the Southern California College of Optometry. She then completed a residency in Pediatric Optometry and Vision Therapy at the Southern California College of Optometry in 2003. Following her residency, Dr. Nguyen accepted a full time faculty position at SCCO where she is currently an instructor and teaches in the laboratory, clinic, and residency program. Dr. Nguyen is a member of the American Optometric Association, and the College of Optometrists in Vision Development. At present, Dr. Nguyen is involved with the Amblyopia Treatment Studies, a clinical research study funded by the National Eye Institute (NEI). Dr. Nguyen lectures locally in the area of binocular vision.
